Job Description
Merchant Finance Pte Limited (MFL) is seeking a strategic and dynamic professional to join our team as Manager Marketing and Communications. This leadership role will promote our products and services, enhance our brand, and manage both internal and external communications while leading impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The role combines office-based work with field engagement, including travel to rural and underserved communities. Flexibility for community meetings, workshops, and events outside normal hours is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies that drive product uptake, customer acquisition, and business growth.
Lead brand management, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong market presence across digital, print, and corporate platforms.
Oversee internal and external communications, including media relations, stakeholder engagement, and public representation of the company.
Plan and implement CSR programs that create meaningful impact in communities, encourage staff involvement, and align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce engaging content, campaigns, and communications that reflect the company’s values and community focus.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing, brand, and communication initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.
Serve as a spokesperson when required, managing public communications to maintain and protect the company’s reputation.
Ensure all marketing and communication activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, community engagement or CSR, preferably in financial services.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
Strong understanding of financial products, financial inclusion, and community-focused initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
