We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Lending Officer to join our Vanua Finance team. If you have a passion for finance, business development, and community-focused lending, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage the Vanua Finance loan portfolio and ensure timely repayments.
• Conduct client interviews and prepare loan applications.
• Drive business growth by meeting sales targets.
• Assess and recommend business loan applications.
• Promote Vanua Finance products to SMEs, cooperatives, and individuals.
• Conduct financial literacy sessions and provide guidance on finance management.
• Review accounts and ensure compliance with MFL policies.
• Manage arrears, initiate collections, and handle repossessions when required.
• Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.
• Travel to rural and interior divisions to meet with clients.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

• Diploma in Economics, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience in Hospitality or Finance.
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to speak i-Taukei language.
