Job Description
We are seeking for a robust and competent Branch Manager to join Merchant Finance Pte Limited (MFL) and lead our Suva Office. The role will report to the General manager Central.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Create new business opportunities through advertising and marketing with strong communication skills.
Ensure monthly and annual profitability are achieved with operating expense maintained within the budget.
Ensure monthly and annual sales targets are achieved through effective planning within the team as well as business relationship with relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and coordinate staff effort and resources to achieve overall branch targets to achieve favourable FY results.
Provide leadership, guidance, and operational support to branch teams to ensure divisional targets are achieved.
Ensure compliance of bulk files for settlement/ repossessions/review are in order as per regulatory and company requirements.
Identify business growth opportunities and market development initiatives within the Central Division.
Promote a high performance, customer-focused, and compliant working culture.
Assist in development and review of Lending & Collection policies, framework and procedures to adequately meet business needs.
Monitor operational risks, audit findings and compliance matters across the division and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
Minimum Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Management or relevant field.
At least 6 years of experience in a banking, credit or financial services position.
Demonstrated successful business development/marketing/sales experience.
Strong Customer Relationship and Network capabilities.
Sound knowledge of lending practices/system, credit and risk management policies and procedures.
Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, negotiations and organizing skills.
Excellent oral and written communication ability.
Qualification in Banking & Finance, Management, Business and/or Accounting is desirable.
