The successful candidate will assist in overseeing information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management programs based on industry-accepted information security and risk management frameworks, as well as regulatory requirements including:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure MFL’s computing network.
• Monitor network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Operationalise cybersecurity processes including identification, protection, detection, response and recovery functions. 
• Facilitate penetration tests to find flaws. 
• Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate course of action.
• Maintain and conduct reviews of MFL IT policies.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming or related field.
• Practical experience in network support, such as Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches and firewall. Need to have a strong sense of information security and cyber security.
• 2-5 years’ experience in the security administration field.
• Effective communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders with critical thinking processes and ability to simplify information into layman terms.
• Worked in a credit or banking institution would be an advantage.
