The successful candidate will assist in overseeing information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management programs based on industry-accepted information security and risk management frameworks. This role will be an integral part of the Information Technology Team to help improve and communicate the maturity levels of information security, state of cybersecurity and IT risk practices across MFL,  as well as regulatory requirements including:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure MFL’s computing network.
• Monitor network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Operationalise cybersecurity processes including identification, protection, detection, response and recovery functions. 
• Facilitate penetration tests to find flaws. 
• Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate course of action.
• Ensuring full compliance with MFL policy, procedures and processes.
• Maintain and conduct reviews of MFL IT policies.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming or related field.
• Practical experience in network support, such as Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches and firewall. Need to have a strong sense of information security and cyber security.
• 2-5 years’ experience in the security administration field.
• Performed security, vulnerability, infrastructure review, DR and IT risk assessment with
  successful history of uncompromised system.
• Worked in a credit or banking institution would be an advantage.
