Job Description

Merchant Finance is seeking an experienced Data and Insights Manager to lead data strategy and analytics efforts across the company. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the collection, analysis, and presentation of data, ensuring that insights directly contribute to the company’s success and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Merchant Finance’s business goals.
  • Oversee the collection, cleaning, validation, and accuracy of data from multiple sources, ensuring data completeness and reliability.
  • Establish and enforce data governance protocols, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of data systems and tools to ensure they meet current and future business needs.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that clearly communicate key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders at all levels.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
    • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling techniques, and data governance practices.
  • Familiarity with the latest tools, software, and methodologies for data analysis.
